Garvyn wasnt sure what to wear for this first "date"…but he was sure that he wanted to be as comfortable as possible on it.
And yet..he'd never wore clothing from another shadow before. He'd seen pictures, of course. His father had..on occasion…had to travel to other places..somertimes to judge certain comopetitions..sometimes as an advisor for agrecultural needs or the like..and he had to wear either casual or..Business?..attire. It seemed somewhat..functional and at times..more comfortable than leathers..although not very protective in combat.
Well, if he is going to change in some ways…perhaps he should start with his clothing..at least once.
He walked into Castle Calyx after the picnic….not learning much more than he already knew, and finding that not much has changed from the outlooks of the original relatives he found himself with..except that they seem to have found suitable companions to spend their own time with.
It would seem that their host is trying his..or her…best to make them as comfortable as possible before they are to undertake their mission. Admirable.
He saw Geoffrey at the base of the stairs and motioned towards him.
"Sir…I wonder if I could be fitted for a…I'm not sure how it is described…on shadow earth they call it a…thrice cut suit?"
Geoffrey raises and eyebrow, trying to understand what the young elf is trying to describe..after a few moments, realization colors his gaze.
"Do you mean…three piece suit, Lord Garvyn?"
Garvyn blushed slightly and nodded.
"Yes..thats it. I'll need it for this evening…in an appropriate color and styling for..one such as myself."
Geoffrey nodded knowingly. "I understand, sir. If you will come this way…we will have you measured and have several choices completed for you by this evening."
Garvyn nodded and followed Geoffrey down several hallways into a large fitting room. A man and two women stood with measuring tape, stylists and notepaper in hand..ready to take measurements.
"Please disrobe, Lord Garvyn." Geoffrey states. "They will need to take your measurements for a perfect fit to your new clothing."
Garvyn raised an eyebrow, but did as he was instructed. After all, this was his first three piece suit.
And he felt Greta was worth it.
